Hi sci.math.

Doing a physics problem the other day, the answer came out to be 0^i

I think this number is undefined because the exponentiation function
on the complex plane, evaluated at 0 with exponent of square root of
minus one, results in cos(-oo) + i*sin(-oo) which doesn't have a definite
value. Although there may be other ways to evaluate it using various
algebraic rules with complex numbers.

I am curious to see what others think.
