Now does Kepler Packing proof deliver any new interesting mathematics to the world? I dare say no, for it is simply proven in a paragraph of 12 kissing points is maximum for unit spheres. What would be interesting and I doubt anyone looked into it, is what sort of most dense packing results from variable sphere diameters. So that a shoot at a proof for variable sphere diameters, would likely be the same definition of density-- total kissing points.
