Hi

My problem is quite simple...
I have a table containing data...let say.,

P1 = [1 2 3]
P2 = [1 4 16]
Table = [4 5 6; 7 8 9; 10 11 12]

so my row titles are [1 2 3]
ans coloum titles are [1 4 16]
and data are [4 5 6; 7 8 9; 10 11 12]

so my table looks like:
0 1 4 16
1 4 5 6
2 7 8 9
3 10 11 12

now I have a value from the data.(let say 8.)
now when i select 8, matlab should give me answer as [P1, P2] = [2, 4]
and similarly when I select 11 matlab should give me answer as [P1, P2] = [3, 4]

Is there any solution for this problem? Using interpolation reverse can possible. from 2,4; I can get 8 as a answer using command interp2. but I want the P1 & P2 as a answer.

Thanks in advance.
Karan
