Hello All

I would not normally use this mailing list to advertise courses, and it is probably against the rules, but this is a brand new kind of Masters course. It is for people who are becoming teacher educators in mathematics or science and is a two-year part-time course at Oxford. Not a MOOC. Not a 'training to teach' course. An introduction to mathematics teacher education as a career, as a research field, and as a body of practice. Please spread the word. I am interested in talking with people who would like to do research associated with it.

See http://www.education.ox.ac.uk/courses/msc-teacher-education/

Thanks for bearing with me.

Anne Watson
Emeritus Professor of Mathematics Education, University of Oxford
