Greetings, math colleagues. I have a question about Algebra 1 Regents exams.

I know that in June 2014 students can only sit for the Algebra 1exam based on the 2005 standards IF they also sit for the CC version of Algebra 1. So here is my question...
Suppose a student fails both Algebra 1 exams in June and wants to try again to pass in August. Do they have to sit for both exams again, or can they choose to only sit for the 2005 version since they already attempted the CC version back in June?

Thank you, in advance, for your help!
