Ph.D. Assistantship School of Education Department of Curriculum & Instruction
A doctoral level graduate assistantship in the Department of
Curriculum and Instruction at Baylor University is available
beginning with the 2014-15 school year. The assistantship is
renewable based on satisfactory progress towards the degree. The
assistantship includes an $18,000 stipend and tuition for 24 semester
hours per year.

The purpose of Baylor's Ph.D. in Curriculum & Teaching program is to
prepare graduates for university-based leadership in the field of
Curriculum & Teaching. Students are taught to conduct research,
prepare teachers, educate other professionals within the field of
education, and perform all duties necessary to thrive as university
faculty members. The curriculum prepares leaders who have the
research background necessary to provide long-term vision for
curriculum, teaching, and teacher education.

Faculty in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction maintain
significant research agendas and direct the implementation of several
major funded projects.
