Hello, I realy need help. This is important to me. Let, I have a two variable polynomial, p(x,y)=0 whose degree is "3". My aim is to determine for which values of "y", p(x,y) have real roots(if exists). At least I need to determine the lower bound of "y", which makes p(x,y) have real roots(if exists);. How can I find such value of "y"? Is there a method? Thanks a lot.
