Trying to plan for September.
Geometry teachers..
are you going to follow the modules? are you going to do Geometry or Common Core Geometry?
I would like to do Geometry(I know what will be on that regents!) and definitely incorporate some new common core material.
I was thinking to start off with?
basic definitions ( do constructions of all types as they come up) pairs of angles parallel lines triangle properties (including inequalities) congruent triangles proofs Transformations rigid motion (proofs) Similar triangles missing sides, angles, proofs Transformations dilations (proofs)
next..maybe
Trig?.. Quadrilaterals?. Coordinate Geometry?
Any thoughts?????
