Hi there,
I have got a simple set of data, equally spaced along one direction (a vector 1x320). Now, I would like to convert this data from 1d into 3d (sth like 320 x 320 x 320). I know that it is radially symmetric around the centre of a sphere.

Any idea how I could do this conversion, in a way that I get a set of data which I can use as a color scale for a 3d surface plot?
