Hello Everyone,

I hope that this message finds you in great spirits as we are half way through the summer break.

This forum is used to share news amongst colleagues across the state and this is something I just had to share.

Texas Instruments is running a promotion over the next two month. Starting July 18th you can go to the TI website (<>) and register to win 30 TI-84 Plus C Silver Edition Graphing Calculators, 3 charging stations, and TI-Smartview Emulator software (Prize value - $4,500).

The TI-84 Plus C Silver Edition model is the newest member of the TI-84 Plus Family. It offers Color Graphing and a built in rechargeable battery.

The weekly prizes will be announced August 8 - September 26 (8 total winners).

If you go to the website and register, you are entered for the entire contest, however if you go to the site once a day starting July 18th and register each day, you do increase your odds in winning. (Now all those statistic classes are paying off!)

I would like to see NYS educators win a couple of these weekly prizes so pass this on to colleagues in your district and in your educational circles.

Science teachers are eligible too!
