GSC take note: you mentioned in your OPMS version of a Plan that, were I to pursue my agenda of launching 1, 12, 42, 92... within "kid culture" in Bangalore, I might start by finding an ally within the school system, a grade school teacher you said, and I quote:
""" 1. Some grade-school teacher (or someone else, probably someone like KU interested in that Mission) would choose the Mission and decide that it's worth applying OPMS to it. Essential (or at least highly useful) desideratum: that grade-school teacher (or KU, or whoever) should have at least a 'fair' understanding of 'S' (or whatever else he of which he or she wishes to boost the grade-school understanding).
However, lets assume that the Bangalore school system is hostile to this material, for the sake of modeling purposes. Our content is subversive, disruptive, verboten or whatever.
It's like we're playing this videogame in which Mafia bosses in charge of the School on the Hill are not about to allow our content. That's a plot-driving premise. We need to counter a School that is actively opposing us and trying to anticipate our next maneuver. Can OPMS handle that do you think?
So what's our next counter-move?
The students commute from home to school and from school to home. They're home alone a lot of the time, or even if guardians are present, they have bandwidth and access to our servers.
As you've seen in this earlier math-teach thread , I'm a big believer in the right to home school, apparently not a freedom in Germany.
So like Ralph Nader and Vance Packard, I'm focused on the use of that 3rd parent, what we used to call the Boob Tube (TV), but now we call Youtube (a Google service).
So here, for example, we reach them at home, in a medium they understand (heavy metal music video), with information about the NCLB polyhedron, which you'll see go by quickly at 1 min 15 secs.
[ I know it's hard to for you to view Youtubes but I'm also writing for other GST + Agile team players who share my interest in advancing our BFI.org-displayed agenda around "design science" ]
I hope you'll join us someday in helping the kids of Bangalore. In the meantime, Agile will shoulder the task and go it alone without OPMS appearing to have much to offer.
you may be uncomfortable with my "gang" style jargon but if you check Robert Anton Wilson's encyclopedia of mythic conspiracies, you find mine (GRUNCH) is known for this way of talking and thinking, so lets say I'm being true to form (this is the style expected).
