Mathworks final decision on Mac OS X?

Hello,
Does anyone know if the Mathworks has made a final decision on
whether to release a Mac OS X version?
I am running out of options (and patience) on using the 5.2.1 release in the
Classic environment and will now switch to a different application like
gnu-octave or idl. I'd be very grateful if someone could fill me in.
