Hello, my name is Brandon Szerenyi. I am a senior attending Phoenixville
Area High School. My Discrete Math teacher, Mr. Weinstein, was in DREI'99
DIMACS program over the summer. We are currently working on graph coloring.
I was wondering if you need 4 colors for New Mexico, Arizona, Utah, and
Colorado for the map of the U.S.A. If so, couldn't you add a fifth state
that connects at the common point, thus violating the 4 Color Conjecture?
