Problem of the week

I would have the children physically work out the first problem like this
together by getting up and acting out the roles of the king and his guests.
After they did the problem then they could work in small groups to answer
similar problems then individually.
Changes: I would initially give the students a number to work with as well
as a starting place. As they got more and more practice, I would then make
it open ended.
