I think that Online Communities (OC) are really valuable to folks who
have few colleagues to share ideas with. The few I have been
involved with have many inputs that are of little interest to me.
Having categories and subcategories is a good way to "cut to the
chase" when looking for specific topics. A good OC must have this
feature.
