Middle school geometry

As a middle school teacher educator, I am interested in how the forum can facilitate discussion between and among middle school teachers, middles school teacher educators, middle school students, and secondary teachers and/or students.
In looking at the middle school curriculum, topics between secondary and middle school are very similar. The approach to discussing those topics are different but are these difference so extreme that discussion cannot occur between teachers? I don't think so. It seems as though ideas and activities about geometry can be shared.
In many cases, middle school teachers specialize in two or more content areas and therefore may not have the mathematical background or training that secondary teachers may have. However, opening a dialog between these two groups of teachers can only be beneficial to both groups.
I would be very interested in hearing from anyone who would be interested in encouraging middle school teachers to read and communicate to others over the forum.
