Draw a square. From each vertex construct an arc with the radius of the
square through the vertices adjacent to the chosen vertex. You should have
4 arcs intersecting inside the square that form a kind of realuex square (
I think that is close to the spelling). Connect the consecutive vertices
where the arcs intersect. What is the ratio of the area of this new square
to the area of the original square.
