[HM] Nested inscribed perspective triangle theorem: Whose?

The following theorem is stated on page 165 of N. Altshiller-Court's
book, College Geometry:

"The triangle (Q)=DEF is inscribed in the triangle (P)=ABC, and the
triangle (R)=KLM is inscribed in (Q). Show that if any two of these
triangles are perspective to the third, they are perspective to each
other."

Can we determine the earliest publication of this fruitful theorem?
