Dear All,

I would like to check out some dates and names on the following issues:

1- The first mathematician/s who wrote on the "fourth-dimension" concept?

2- The first mathematician/s who wrote on "best-approximations to
irrational numbers by means or rational numbers"?

I already got some info on this matter, however I think this is the best
place to check those dates and names out.

Many thanks in advance for any help on this matter.
