The Peddie School offers a unique professional development experience
for the middle school mathematics teachers. This summer, August 3 – 7,
2003, we will hold our 4th annual Peddie Mathematics and Technology
Conference. The focus of this program is on the impact and
applications of technology in the classroom and the role of technology
in today and tomorrow's mathematics curriculum. The conference is
modeled after the Phillips Exeter Academy Mathematics and Technology
Conference. During the conference teachers will participate in two
workshops of their choice offered every day for 2 hours and will have
optional special programs and evening presentations. Nationally
recognized educators will lead all workshops and presentations. In
addition, representatives from Texas Instruments will be on campus for
three days of the conference to offer workshops and seminars. All
participants will have free access to Internet. Leisure opportunities
include The Peddie School athletic facilities and 18-hole golf course.
Graduate credit is available for a modest cost. More information on
the conference can be found at The
application form and complete brochure are available on the conference
web site.
