In the duplication of the cube problem a curious curve arises (see
W. Knorr, "The Ancient Tradition of Geometric Problems", pp. 51,52;
fig. 3):

Let AD be a segment of a straight line anbd consider the circumference
of the circle of diameter AD. Take a right triangle AKD, where K lies on
that circumference, an draw KI perpendicular to AD and IM perpendicular
to AK. Then, M trace a curve when K goes on the circumference of the
circle of diameter AD.

Can you tell me anything about this curve?. Has it a proper name?. Please,
tell me all aof you know about this curve.
