Welcome to the NCSM Members discussion list, maintained by NCSM and hosted by the Math Forum.
This list is private and unmoderated; so subscriptions are approved at the discretion of the list owners, and anything that list members post will be distributed directly to the entire list if they use the list address.
To post messages to the list, just e-mail
If you need a hand, don't ask the list -- e-mail <firstname.lastname@example.org>.
The continuation of this mailing list has been facilitated by the generous people at the Math Forum (http://forum.swarthmore.edu/). You can use this service to communicate with your NCSM friends, to get to know other NCSM members, or to share new approaches to curriculum, instruction, assessment, and equity in the mathematics classroom.
This NCSM Members listserv is a mailing list based on the particular needs of NCSM members. It provides a unique opportunity to use powerful, cost-efficient technology to further our cause. You will be able to read messages from other NCSM subscribers only, rather than postings left by the general public.
Please remember that listserv messages you "reply" to will go to the author unless you specify the list address (email@example.com) in the "To:" line of your e-mail. Before responding to someone's message, decide whether your comments are for everyone to see or just for that person, and address your e-mail accordingly.
Richard Wertheimer (Pittsburgh Public Schools) and Kay Gilliland (EQUALS Programs) began this listserv through their work on NCSM Task Force #4, Expanding Networking Opportunities among NCSM Members.
