I disagree. We need people who will listen to what the others are saying. In my opinion (perhaps I'm mistaken) Michael is as bad as Andre in hearing only what he wants to hear (which is often not the true point), apparently so he can flame an author and show everyone how intelligent he (thinks) he is.
I'm not saying Andre and Michael aren't intelligent in some way. But I don't believe true intelligence can (should?) be so inflexible as these two appear to be.
BTW, I'm taking Michael's advice and not reading Andre's responses anymore. I'm also adding Michael to the list.
Karen, Susan, Joan, Greg, and a host of others too numerous to mention--please don't disappear; you are the people who seem to have something thoughtful to say.
