Howdy, ya'll!
After the deluge I waded through, my only comment must remain on the light
side, for I can't take it any more -
As a native, I can safely say that the STATE of Texas is much closer to
being the REPUBLIC of Texas than the RUSSIAN Republic.
(I'm not sure _why_ that is my reaction, but there it is.)
