<Subj: Popular Algebra I texts

<Hi all -
< I am wondering what the most commonly-used high school Algebra I
<texts are these days. Any idea where I might find out? I'd be
<happy knowing the 3 or 4 most popular ones in use today.

<Thanks in advance for any info.

<TCP/IP-ingly yours,

We switched to the University of Chicago School Mathematics Program (UCSMP)
this year for: Alg I; Geometry; Functions, Statistics & Trigonometry; &
PreCalc. Next year we are adding the Alg II text. We got good feedback on the
series from this list & have been pretty happy with it so far.
You can get info on UCSMP from Scott-Foresman.
