HS Course sequencing

I would like to hear from various people in various states on which
sequence your school or district takes for high school math courses. Do
you have the traditional Alg. I, Geom, Alg II, or do you do the two
Algebras first and then the Geometry? Why do you do it that way? What are
the benefits/disadvantages?
