G'day!

This email is not relevant to this list, but I need a bit of help so I
thought I would ask anyway.

I am teaching an introductory course on the Internet to business education
teachers for the next two Tuesdays, after school. I would like the teachers
to have some email to read when they log in for the first time.

If you write a short letter introducing yourself to one or more of the
teachers, then they will write back to you. I arranged a similar
correspondence for a course I ran in May, and it was great! In fact, a few
of the teachers continued their correspondence by snail mail after the
course was over.

The teacherss have the following email addresses:
ghs305@cq-pan.cqu.edu.au
ghs306@cq-pan.cqu.edu.au
down to
ghs325@cq-pan.cqu.edu.au

Unfortunately I don't yet have a name to assign to each address, so if you
wish to write, you'll have to choose an address at random, and make the
salutation generic, such as 'Dear Teacher' or 'Howdy! or 'Hey Bud' or
something like that.

To select an address, please choose a number from 5 to 25 at random (eg look
at the second hand of your watch; if that number falls outside the range,
use the minute hand, or 24 hour time for the hour). For example, if the
second hand reads 15, the chosen address is ghs315@cq-pan.cqu.edu.au. Then
just take a few minutes to type up a short email and say hello. We have an
offline system at our school, so we will download any incoming mail just
before the class starts. We will bundle up our replies on Wednesday
morning and email them off. You should have a reply by Wednesday afternoon,
at the latest.

Here's hoping you wish to get involved! I heartily recommend it - it could
be quite fun. Please write to me at the address below if you have any queries.

Thanks for your time.

Cheers

Rex
