A number of NCTM listserv members who have been following the Constructivism Redux discussions have asked me how the parallel discussion has been going on constructivism within the methods classroom. Because the number of overall NCTM postings has been rather small in recent weeks, I'm going to simply forward a few recent and related AMTE postings rather than attempt to summarize them. I think this will give you the flavor as well as the content without overburdening your screen. If you are not interested in this topic (or if you are already a member of the AMTE listserv), the postings will be easy to recognize for deletion just by looking at the subject. All will have the heading "Constructivism Forward # N." I believe you will find that the AMTE discussion direction both supplements and complements that of the NCTM list.
