Hi Ruth,
Wish I were there...
Sometimes I've wished for a bank of application problems, or
worksheets, or tests. More frequently, Sometimes I benefit from comments of
personal experience - "war stories". Recently, I've collected a wealth of
ideas on cooperative learning to use next year. As a novice to this
approach I am eager to expand my use of it, but more importantly, I want to
do it well. So the suggestions of specific activities and approaches have
been much appreciated. I do not find the debate on the efficacy of the
practice of similar benefit. Perhaps a way of collecting suggestions,
activities, experiences by topic would be useful - but you can leave out
the debate on its utility.
Also, I find it useful to dialogue with an experienced practitioner
- perhaps a database of "experts", or at least those with some experience
could be created (maybe the sender's name and address in the collection of
messages by topic would be ok).
