"Mike,

Although your post was specific to Jerome, I would like to discuss a hope,
a dream perhaps that I have for the future of education. Since I teach
fourth grade and use learning teams extensively I have been told by the
fifth grade teacher that receive my former students, that they are easier
and easier to get to work effectively together."

I would like to echo what Eileen said above. As a sixth grade teacher that
has been a demonstration classroom teacher for the last three years, I have
been asked several times over how I get the students to cooperate and
collaborate so well. I am honest with them and credit the teachers before
me. In this case, it's to Aggie's credit, and all of the pre-k through fifth
grade teachers in my school. I do feel lucky.

Bob
