I have trouble with using PSAT scores as the justification for 7th grade algebr
a. The PSAT (and the SAT, for that matter) only has Algebra I and some Geometr
y. It's taken in the 11th grade, so it's not clear that starting Algebra in th
e 7th grade offers any additional content that would help on the test.

Also, if you are offering Algebra I in the 7th grade, what do you have to offer
in the 12th? If you have a full program for all grades, that's excellent. Bu
t if you run the kids through AP Calculus in grade 11, what then?
