ATMNE conference

I know that some of you need to request time or dollars for travel BEFORE
leaving for the summer, so I wish to remind you that the Association of
Teachers of Mathematics in New England will be holding their conference in
Portland, ME, on 30 Nov-2Dec, 1995. Attendance will be limited to 1600 in
the hopes that sessions will be uncrowded, accessible, pleasant, etc. In
addition to the usual math topics, and exhibits, there will be busses to
LLBean in Freeport, ME, the Maine Mall, and Old Port...three neat places to
do some of your holiday shopping.
Program booklets are not out yet and if you are not affliated with one of
the local NE math professional organizations and would like a program, just
email me and I will put your name on the mailing list. If you are affliated
with a local group, you should be receiving one when we do the mass mailing.
