I was wondering what would be your top ten objectives of a
secondary mathematics teacher education program? What experiences do
future teachers need in order to be qualified to teach secondary
mathematics? What should their course work include (not just the
mathematics courses, but also the education courses)? What should be
included to better prepare our teachers to teach in line with the
Standards? What characteristics seem lacking in the student teachers you
have worked with? Please be specific.

Thanks,
Claran Einfeldt
