Mathematicians and K12 teachers/students

I am looking for examples of K12 math education projects run/originated by mathematicians. I'm not so much interested in bigticket, multimillion dollar grantfunded projects, as smaller ones that others could replicate without years of experience or lots of money. Small local projects are fine.
Have you participated in such a project, or do you know someone who has? I'd like to hear from you. Please pass this on to interested parties.
