Actually, the senator didn't want mathematicians involved either. I don't
think he would recognize the difference between a mathematician and a
matheamtics educator. His preference is for parents to set the standards.

While I believe patients should be involved in decisions about health care and
tenants about building safety, I look to medical and engineering professionals
for definitive standards and guidance.
