A very late good morning to everyone,
I wonder if anyone can come to my assistance. I've just returned
from the library where I thought I downloaded a string of references.
Something has gone wrong for nothing was on my disk. Anyway .....
I'm trying to trace some references on the use of manipulatives by young
children (either pre-K or K/1) to solve word problems. I've come across
some references which skirt the issue but do not directly focus on the
use of manipulatives/countable or whatever one calls them. I would
appreciate if any reader could point me in the right direction. Once I
get a suitable reference the bibliography should help me.
Appreciatively,
K.
