MATH FORUM PROBLEMS OF THE WEEK (POWS)

http://forum.swarthmore.edu/pow/

After a summer hiatus, the Math Forum's Problems of the Week,
designed to provide creative, non-routine challenges for
students in grades 3-12, have resumed for the 1999-2000
school year.

This year we will be hosting six problems:

- Elementary
- Middle School
- Geometry
- Algebra
- Discrete Math
- Trig & Calculus

As our project grows, we need more adult mentors to reply
to students. Please consider joining our volunteer cavalry
mentor group, whose members send replies to a few students
each week. For more information, choose a level or topic and
follow its Mentor Project link; to read about how students
can participate, follow the link to a Current Problem, then
select Information and Guidelines, or Rules, or Frequently
Asked Questions.
