*** Please excuse this unrelated but important query. ***

I've received a complaint this morning from a Numeracy list subscriber
of unsolicitated e-mail concerning child pornography. I am trying to
verify whether other subscribers have received such abusive e-mail and
whether the numeracy list has been spammed by an intruder.
Please respond to me OFF-LIST and let me know if you have received
such a message. I am trying to resolve this as quickly as possible
through both my service and the service of origination of the e-mail.

Thank you.
