Med-Med Regression

I recently was asked about Med-Med (Median-Median) regression. I've
never heard of it, nor could I find any references to it in any of my
statistics textbooks or software manuals. It was apparently a function
of a T.I. calculator.

Has anyone heard of this, and could if so, could you please clue me in
on what it is? Thank you.
