The Numerical Algorithms Group Ltd (NAG) develops and distributes high-quality mathematical software worldwide. NAG is seeking to appoint two talented individuals to the posts of: Computational Mathematician Computational Software Engineer The two posts will be within the existing team responsible for the AXIOM computer algebra system, and will also involve some work on the FRISCO project funded under the European Commission's Fourth Framework.
Both posts will require versatile, self-motivated individuals who can work as part of a team developing production-quality mathematical software. A person with some knowledge of the algorithms used in computer algebra would be particularly suited for the first post, and a person with experience of writing compilers for object-oriented languages would be ideal for the second.
