Thursday, Susan Stein and I did a 3.5 hours minicourse at the NW Math
Conference paralleling our 3.5 years project. This is the same
conference
that Cynthia, Suzanne, and Judy Brown came to last year.
We tried to give the participants the same experiences that we had
together.
The math guy took care of some of the math and the technology, the
reflection lady took care of having us reflect - often, and the two of
us
worked together to make it all happen. We worked thru the problem and
led
them into discussions about questioning, discourse, etc.
Each participant got a copy of our CD and we spent the last half hour
showing off the masterpiece. At the end we tried to show them how to
log on.
Since they all had reflections, we encouraged them to log on and share
them
on line with the rest of us.
