Welcome to the pow-teach list.

This list has been established to facilitate conversation around the
Math Forum's Problems of the Week . We
invite input from teachers who have used these problems in their
classrooms, and from anyone with questions concerning how to implement
these problems in a particular curriculum.

Our PoW administrators, Annie, Ethel, Jody, Judy, Leigh, Lisa, Lynne,
Richard, and Terry, will participate in the list on occasion to answer
general questions concerning mentoring, creating problems, and awards.
We will also post information concerning service improvements and
plans for the future.

It is our hope that this list will bring teachers who are using the
Problems of the Week together to share ideas and to discuss how the
PoWs work in classrooms. Discussions should be a resource for teachers
and driven by teachers, so please feel free to explore any ideas you
have regarding the Math Forum's Problems of the Week.
