Hello!

One of the most challenging parts of being the administrator for the
Elementary Problem of the Week is developing problems.

One of my favorite problems from the 1999-2000 school year was "Lost
in Space"

posted October 11, 1999. This problem was inspired by real life
events and could be used as an extension of the newspaper articles
surrounding the events.

I would like to know if/how some of you used this problem (or one of
the other article-based problems) in a cross-curricular unit.

I'd also be interested in hearing which problem was *your* favorite
and why.

-Lisa
