Hi,

I hope that everyone had a great holiday season! I had a lovely trip
to New Orleans, if you are doing the Middle School Problem, you heard
about it. :-)

I thought that I would use this list to send out a few reminders:

1. If you have suggestions for math topics that you would like to see
covered in our problems please let us know. You can write to us
through this list or directly to the service. (elempow@mathforum.com,
midpow@mathforum.com, geopow@mathforum.com, algpow@mathforum.com,
calcpow@mathforum.com, dmpow@mathforum.com)

2. We would also love to hear about extensions to our problems that
you have developed for use in your classroom. Please share these
ideas with all of the teachers on this list.

3. If you are looking for yet another challenge for your students,
try the 2001 puzzle at http://mathforum.com/~judyann/2001/

4. Many of our staff members will be attending the NCTM conference in
Orlando in April. You can find out more at
http://mathforum.com/workshops/nctm2001/ We hope that you will attend
one of our sessions or stop by our booth to say hello.

5. We can't do our work with out you. Please help us with your
contributions.

We look forward to hearing from you.

Judy
