Hi everyone,

Another load of certificates went out in the mail today. Close to
two hundred students received a certificate this time around.
However, I still have approximately thirty left on my desk, because we
have no school addresses for those students. If you have a student who
has been on the list for over a month, and s/he does not receive a
certificate within the next week or so, please write
<pow@mathforum.com> to confirm that we have an address for your
school.

Also, we would love to know how you are handing out these awards. Any
great stories to share with the group? How are the students receiving
them? What are you doing in the classroom to honor your students? Is
it worth the time and expense to mail these during the year, or should
we go back to mailing them all at the end of the year?

As always, happy problem solving,
Lynne
