Hello Friends of the PoWs,

The Math Forum will have volunteer mentor groups working with students
in the Math Fundamentals Problem of the Week for the next three
problems (that's SIX weeks of mentoring!) They will mentor many
student submissions, so please encourage your students to submit.

The problem, "Giving with Grapefruit*" is accepting submissions now
through November 9. The mentor group is from California State
University - Los Angeles.

Math Fundamentals - Giving with Grapefruit

The problems beginning November 10 and November 24 will be mentored by
two mentor groups from Western Oregon University.

The Math Fundamentals PoW is for students working on problems in
numbers, operations, and measurement, as well as introductory
geometry, data, and probability.

* Remember to look for the * in the problem title to know if there is
a mentor group working with the problem.
