I added a number of new items to the home page of the VMT wiki at http://mathforum.org/wiki/VMT/
There is new information related to last month's VMT International Workshop, including a Workshop Report.
Under Project Progress, there is a Report on Year I and a Plan for Year II.
There are three new wiki areas with [VMT PedagogyVirtualWorkTeam pages], [VMT SoftwareVirtualWorkTeam pages] and [VMT ResearchVirtualWorkTeam pages] for our three new virtual work teams that we want to set up with email lists and wiki sites. Each area has the relevant part of the Plan for Year II and space for discussion issues. Some of the areas have additional information, including the teams that were suggested at the end of the workshop.
Please review this new information and make suggestions for changes or additions by next Wednesday's meeting. You can use this email thread to discuss changes and make additions directly in the wiki pages.
After next week's meeting, I would like to send an email to all workshop participants and invitees, welcoming them to join our new email discussion lists and participating in the Virtual Work Teams using the wiki areas. I will also point them to the Workshop Report, the Report on Year I and the Plan for Year II.
I realize that each of you is working on your own task for the VMT project this summer, but I would appreciate your thoughts about this effort to set up the virtual work teams, which is also an important goal for the summer.
Thanks, Gerry
