Upgrading Simulink RTW&external mode model to R14 for vxWorks

I have been trying to upgrade a large simulink-stateflow model which
has been compiled using RTW and stateflow coder. The model was
originally generated and compiled in R12 and has been running on a
power pc target through the vxWorks OS.
While running in external mode i have been having many crashes
concerning memory corruption, packets not being received by the host
and more. All problems I did not encounter with the R12 version.
Are there known problems with data and memory handling in RTW and
external mode in R14? Are there specific blocks that could be causing
the problems? Upgrading needed for s-functions perhaps?
Any solutions?
