Since the Investigations Program does not have a set Calendar Time our
district purchased the Scotts Foresman Calendar and Time Kit.

I have seen the Calendar displayed day by day in some classrooms and
in its entirety in others. To me it makes the most sense to display
the calendar in its entirety since that is how one views it in daily
life. Many teachers do not agree.

I'd love to hear other peoples viewpoints on this.

Also, regarding the straws and place value. Do Kindergartners really
understand this concept? Isnt this against the "philosophy" of
Investigations and most constructivist programs?
