What is the definition of a Multiple?

Subject: Re: Multiplication

Hi there! The question you sent us is a good one.

If you're counting

5 10 15 20....

you're counting the MULTIPLES of 5

or

2 4 6 8

would be MULTIPLES of 2

A multiple of a number has that number as one of its factors.

Does that make sense? Write back with more questions!
